Namibia
Namibia's main destinations are:
Windhoek
Namibia's capital and the start and end point for all our tours. Windhoek is a city that blends its German colonial past with the feel of a modern African city.
Sossusvlei
Namibia's most famous destination, Sossusvlei offers spectacular sand dunes and some outstanding lodges. No trip to Namibia is complete without a visit to Sossusvlei.
Etosha National Park
A 5,000 square kilometre game reserve in the north of the country. Etosha is a sanctuary for black and white rhinos, large herds of elephants, lions and an abundance of other animals. It is also a bird-watchers delight.
Swakopmund
A quaint desert town on the Atlantic Coast. Swakopmund is much more German than African and is Namibia’s main holiday resort and the hub of dolphin viewing cruises, desert tours, quad biking and sand boarding.
Fish River Canyon
The world's second largest canyon is arguably Namibia's most spectacular geographical phenomenon. The canyon is in the south of the country at the end of Namibia's longest river - the Fish. A great place for hiking or just standing in awe of nature.
The Kalahari Desert
A red desert inhabited by the San people or Bushmen as they are commonly referred to in Namibia. The area offers a large variety of game and birds.
